This is the great dance for those who have 2 Left feet! but are ready to see what this "Swing thing" is all about.
We choose songs with a pronounced rhythm and many of the songs we play you will readily recognize from movies, cartoons and commercials. (We are always open for request too)
Dances are open to all ages and are usually attended by 60-100 people with 20-40 taking the beginner lesson. We rotate during the lesson so feel free to come solo or with a couple of friends and we will take care of getting you a partner or two for the lesson. Even if you know how to dance the lesson is a great way to meet others and help them pick up the material quicker. This is a laid back fun evening so feel free to come dressed comfortable.
Ladies, the guys do a great job of keeping you on the dance floor but don't be shy about asking them to dance if no one asks you for 1-2 songs.
Guys, when the ladies ask you to dance they plan on dancing with you for one song, not for the rest of the evening. If you see a lady standing at the edge of the floor she's ready to dance, don't walk past her to ask some one sitting directly behind her :)
